WITH JESUS IN THE MORNING
Listening to Understand
Begin this new week with a desire to open your ears to the Word of God. Listen to it with both your ears and your heart.
โThe Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed meโ (Lk 4:18).
Remember the words of Pope Francis: โListening to the Word with the heart allows it to transform our lives.โ
Ask the Lord to make you receptive to His Spirit, so that His Word may take root in you and bear fruit in works of love and service.
Offer this day so that you may listen fruitfully and respond with acts of compassion. Pray the offering prayer.
