Give Thanks
As you come to the end of the day, acknowledge the weariness in your body and your desire for restful sleep. Thank the Lord for having walked with you today.
Ask Him to help you see the small, gratuitous gestures of love you received from your brothers and sisters. Pray for simpler eyes, so you may recognize these moments and give thanks for them.
Ask the Lord’s forgiveness for the times you moved forward without pausing in gratitude.
Pray for a generous heart, so that you may live each day in thanksgiving—for everything and for everyone.
