WITH JESUS IN THE NIGHT
Recognizing the Challenges
I thank you, Lord, for another day, and I realize that it has passed quickly amid obligations and responsibilities, sometimes without much attention to what I experienced. I pause and reflect on the moments of the day; help me to see through your eyes and recognize the special grace you have given me.
I search my heart for those feelings of fear, mistrust, and anger that clouded the moments of joy and robbed me of peace. Forgive me for letting myself be swept away by them and letting them get the better of me.
Help me to recognize what these feelings are telling me and to learn from them. I offer you what I have experienced, and I set out to live more attentively to your presence tomorrow.
