WITH JESUS DURING THE DAY
Purifying Water
During this afternoon break, I pause for a moment to reflect on the Pope’s intention for this month.
Pope Leo XIV tells us: “Lord of Life, bless this water, that it may cleanse our hearts, wash away our indifference, and renew our hope” (The Pope’s words during the “Growing in Hope” event). How do I show gratitude and bless, through my actions, God’s gift of water?
Lord, may I be cleansed each day—as I am revitalized by water—of the indifference I sometimes feel toward caring for this sacred gift.
Lord Jesus, renew our commitment to protecting and caring for our Common Home.
