I reflect on the week and discover how God has sought me out through the events I’ve experienced, the places I’ve visited, and the people I’ve met.
I give thanks for what I’ve received: good cheer, health, beauty, and the ability to work. I examine how I’ve acted. Have I lived with inner freedom?
I try to identify any realities, character weaknesses, people, or situations that robbed me of my inner peace and freedom.
I ask You, Lord, for the grace I need to grow in freedom. As this new week begins, I want to trust You more and rely less on myself.
