WITH JESUS IN THE MORNING
Brotherhood
As this new day dawns, I come before You, Lord, just as I am, without trying to change anything. In silence, I offer You my life. I hear You say: โThe last will be first, and the first will be lastโ (Mt 20:1โ16).
I make room in my heart and meditate on Your word. What sacrifices are You inviting me to make today in order to live with true social sensitivity? Do I recognize Your call to deny myself and let go of the desire to occupy the first place, so as to make way for the most vulnerable?
I ask you for the grace to live a spirituality of communion with the earth (cf. Step 8, ECC) and with those who suffer from water scarcity.
I pray the offering prayer.
