“To those who have, more will be given, and they will have an abundance”
As I begin a new day, I open my heart to listen to the Word:
The disciples came to him and asked, “Why do you speak to them in parables?” He replied, “Because to you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven.” (Mt 13:10–11)
I am part of that privileged group of Jesus’ own, in which He Himself forms us as disciples as we follow Him. It is He who reveals to us the mysteries of life that enable us to act consciously and commit us to being true defenders of life, recognizing in every human being the presence of God Himself, who calls us to uphold their dignity.
I say my daily offering prayer and join in the Pope’s intention for this month.
