Feeling the Changes in My Heart
Thank you, Lord, for another day. I reflect on what I experienced today. I pay attention to the changes in my heart throughout the day.
Joy, sadness, anxiety, fear, anger, restlessness, peace, hope, etc. Which emotion did I allow in, and which one did I dwell on the longest? I notice the changes in my heart. I pay attention to the actions and desires that arose from those feelings. Is there anything for which I wish to ask forgiveness?
Lord, I resolve to welcome feelings of peace tomorrow and to let go of those that darken my soul. Help me in my goal! Our Father.
