This afternoon, turn your heart to the intention for May: quality food for all.
โHe takes nothing away, and gives everything. Whoever gives themselves to him receives a hundredfold,โ wrote Benedict. Ask God to help you better understand this reward through action: to live more simply so that others may live better.
Today reflect on the ways in which you can reduce unnecessary spending and turn it into shared food, or into support for a specific initiative helping those who are hungry.
May your way of shopping and cooking also be responsible, so that nothing useful goes to waste.
