WITH JESUS IN THE MORNING
Doing Good with Jesus
‘Most gracious Father, on this new day, here I am before You…’ I begin this day with this prayer of offering, and under the gaze of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, I reflect on what I hope to experience today.
Paul the Apostle encourages us to do good: “And you, brothers and sisters, do not grow weary of doing good… May the Lord of peace Himself grant you peace at all times and in every way.” (2 Thess 3:13, 16)
What does “doing good” mean to me? I ask Jesus to work within me; I take Him with me everywhere, and I let His presence and His word enlighten me, guide me, and direct my desires.
Jesus, I trust in You; to You I offer myself.
