WITH JESUS DURING THE DAY
The Joy of Proclaiming the Gospel

In this month when we pray for the evangelization of cities, it does us good to hear the words of Paul VI: ‘May the world of our time—which sometimes searches in anguish and at other times in hope—receive the Good News, not from sad and discouraged evangelizers, nor from those who are impatient or anxious, but from ministers of the Gospel whose lives radiate fervor, who have first and foremost received within themselves the joy of Christ.’
Jesus wants to accompany me in this mission of evangelization, and I ask him to give me his Spirit of boldness and fire. May he make me his apostle through prayer!
In union with all the members of the Pope’s Prayer Network, I pray the monthly prayer....
