WITH JESUS DURING THE DAY
Jesus, the First Evangelizer
I’m taking a few minutes this afternoon to reconnect with Christ. I’m listening to some words from Pope Francis on evangelization.
“Although this mission demands a generous commitment from us, it would be a mistake to understand it as a personal heroic task, because the work is first and foremost His, beyond what we can discover and understand. ‘Jesus is the first and greatest evangelizer.'”
I imagine Jesus by my side, sharing the mission with me, thinking of the image of the yoke that He Himself gave us in the Gospel (Mt 11:29). What feelings fill my heart?
I pray the monthly prayer in communion with the entire Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network....
