Examination with Light
As night falls, place your day before God’s gaze.
Thank Him for what you have received and for the encounters that made you more human. Ask yourself sincerely: Who did you fail to see today? Whose needs did you choose to ignore? Were you careful with your possessions, or did you let something get lost because of your carelessness?
Ask His forgiveness for when your comfort was stronger than His Gospel.
Tomorrow try to open your eyes to someone close to you and set your table in a better way to share.
Entrust to Him those who go to bed hungry.
Pray an Our Father. Amen.
