WITH JESUS IN THE MORNING
Growing Alongside the Wheat (Mt 13:36-43)
Lord, I begin this day by letting your word resonate in my heart.
In your explanation of the parable of the wheat and the weeds, you teach me to look at reality with patience and hope. Often I wish everything were perfect, but you continue to work even in the midst of human frailty. Help me to recognize the good that is already growing in me and in those around me.
Do not let me dwell on mistakes or limitations. Grant me the grace to collaborate with your work, sowing reconciliation, kindness, and respect for all human life. May I choose what builds up, encourages, and gives life today.
I pray the offering prayer.
