WITH JESUS IN THE NIGHT
Finding Peace
As this day comes to a close, I take one last pause, slow down, and reflect on how I have lived. I seek, Lord, to calm my spirit, quiet my thoughts, and focus solely on my breath as a prelude to my encounter with You. I want my heart to set the rhythm of this moment of prayer.
I calmly reflect on what I have experienced. I thank You for everythingโfor the pleasant and for what was notโbecause I know that You are there to transform every situation into good.
I say to You, thank You, thank You, thank You... and may Your peace calm my heart. Take my rest and be with me tomorrow when I wake.
Our Father.
