WITH JESUS DURING THE DAY
Patience That Transforms
As the day draws to a close, I stand before You, Lord. I hear St. Francis de Sales say: โBe patient with everything, but above all with yourselfโ (Letter to Jane de Chantal, 1604).
Thank You that Your gaze is not focused solely on my faults, but on the work You continue to do in my heart. Teach me to treat my brothers and sisters as You treat me, respecting them as Your beloved work, beyond my own preferences and feelings.
I pray the prayer of the month.
