What remains?
At the end of this month, in the middle of the day, we pause briefly and ask ourselves: Have we been able to live out and uphold this prayer intention in our daily lives?
We let the words of Pope Leo resonate within us: โSport is born as an interpersonal experience: it brings bodies into contact and, through bodies, life stories, differences, and affiliations. Shared training, fair competition, and sharing the effort and joy of the game foster exchange and create bonds that transcend social, cultural, and linguistic barriers.โ
What do we take away from this month for our daily lives? Which values promoted by sports have become more meaningful to us? Where do we wish to keep going?
Consciously and attentively, we also pray the prayer of the month on this last day of June.
