More than 6,000 young Mexican Catholics gathered in San Luis Potosí for the 15th National Missionary Youth Congress from July 23-26. Archbishop Fortunatus Nwachukwu, Secretary of the Dicastery for Evangelization, told participants they are called not into an aquarium but into the open sea. The four-day congress strengthened the young people through prayer, formation, missionary experience and digital evangelization. It took place during the centenary of World Mission Sunday and the 75th anniversary of the Mexican Youth Missionary League.
