Pope at Angelus: Christian joy is ‘gift of God for world’s salvation’ - Vatican News

James Wilson · · Angelus
During the Sunday Angelus with pilgrims in St. Peter’s Square, Pope Leo XIV reflected on the parable of the wedding feast and emphasized that Christian joy is a gift of God meant for the world's salvation.

Drawing on the writings of St. Thomas Aquinas and St. Jerome, the Pope noted that goodness naturally tends to spread, urging the faithful not to be discouraged by misunderstandings or rejection when sharing this joy.
