I surrender myself to His gaze
As the day draws to a close, I seek a quiet place and regain my calm. I still my heart. I take one or two deep breaths. I bring to my heart the things I have experienced today. I let the Lord look upon my day.
What events have brought me peace and joy? By whom have I felt loved, cherished, and valued? I spend a few minutes savoring and feeling these moments.
I let the Lord look upon the moments when I lost my peace today, and I allow myself to be reconciled with them.
