WITH JESUS DURING THE DAY
Reflection
I pause and calm my spirit to the rhythm of my breath. I become aware of Your Presence, Lord, and with great reverence I stand before You, my heart filled with gratitude for the daily gift of water in my life.
I recall the words of Pope Saint John Paul II, who explained that โas a gift from God, water is a vital resource, indispensable for survival, and, moreover, a right for all.โ Lord, may our care for water be a sign of love for You, as Creator. I ask for the grace to value it as a gift from You.
With this desire, Lord, I join in this monthโs intention for the care of water.
