WITH JESUS IN THE MORNING
Prayer and Service
On this new day, Lord, I want to open my heart to listen to You and engrave Your ways deep within me.
In your Gospel, you tell me, just as you told Peter, โPut out into the deep and let down your nets for a catchโ (Lk 5:1โ11). I allow your Word to lead me to the very depths of my life so that I may recognize all the grace I have received from you.
Today, as our Church celebrates the memorial of Pope Saint Gregory the Great, I fervently hope that his witness of humility will always lead me to seek You, Lord, and to serve You by serving my brothers and sisters.
Lord, make me Your friend and apostle.
I pray the offering prayer.
