WITH JESUS IN THE MORNING
Newness
Thank you, Lord, for this new day that you have given me.
Today, the First Friday of the month, I pray for the Popeโs intentionโthe care of waterโand meditate on your Word: โHe also told them a parable: โNo one cuts a piece from a new garment to patch an old one; for if he does, the new garment will be ruined, and the piece from the new will not match the old.โโ (Lk 5:33โ39).
You invite me to adopt a completely new attitude, to be aware that each day is something new, an opportunity to grow in faith and commitment. Lord, grant me the grace to reflect each day on the work You are doing in me.
I offer my day for the mission of the Church and for the Popeโs prayer intentions.
