WITH JESUS IN THE MORNING
Presence
As I wake up this morning, I think of the cities filled with so much suffering. Just as in todayโs Gospel, where the Canaanite woman turns to Jesus, pleading: โHave mercy on me, Lord, Son of David! My daughter is being cruelly tormented by a demon.โ (Mt 15:22)
Some will help care for the sick. Others will contribute to healthcare through financial support. Solidarity is in motion.
And if social friendship still awaits to be lived out, Lord, with you we await it, we long for it, and we simply want to be a comforting presence alongside those who suffer.
May your will be done, Lord. May the heart of the world beat in harmony with your Heart.
I lift up this offering prayer to you.
