WITH JESUS DURING THE DAY
The Dynamics of the Spiritual Life
At noon on Sunday, we take a brief pause. What relationships have shaped our day today? Are we willing to open ourselves fully and without prejudice to others?
This month, we pray for the values of sports. Pope Leo writes: โFollowing the Pauline tradition, many Christian authors used images from the world of sports as metaphors to describe the dynamics of the spiritual life. This still prompts us today to reflect on the profound unity among the different dimensions of the human person.โ
How would we describe our spiritual life today? In what way do we experience our relationship with God?
With the prayer of the month, we conclude this brief pause and return, with renewed focus, to our daily lives.
