WITH JESUS DURING THE DAY🥃
Sports as a School of Life
Today is the monthly day of prayer for mental health and this month the Pope’s prayer intention is for the values of sports
The Way of the Heart reminds us that our hearts are needy and we seek happiness in a multitude of ways; for many this includes sports.
Sports can promote personal growth but it can also impact a person’s mental health if they are excessively pressured to perform and win.
Pope Leo XIV sees sport as a “school of life” in which we “learn that abundance does not come from victory at any cost, but from sharing, from respecting others.”
Pray the monthly prayer for the values of sports.
