WITH JESUS IN THE MORNING🫖
Monthly day of prayer for mental health
Our Dignity is found in Christ’s Love
Today is the monthly day of prayer for mental health. This month the Pope prays for the values of sports.
In today’s Gospel Jesus gives us the Beatitudes as part of his Sermon on the Mount.
The Beatitudes serve as a moral compass to counter the "win-at-all-costs" attitude all too often found in sports. This attitude can negatively impact our mental health.
The Beatitudes call on us to center our life on humility, honesty and mercy, reminding us that we will find true dignity not in performance and achievement but in Christ’s unfailing love.
We conclude with the Offering Prayer…`
