WITH JESUS IN THE NIGHT
Growing in Freedom
I quiet my heart and thank you, Lord, for all I have experienced. I reflect on the events of the day and acknowledge how I have lived out my freedom today.
How have I responded to todayโs challenges? In what moments do I recognize that I have been cheerful, hopeful, and in good spirits? I pause for a moment to savor and give thanks for those moments when I responded with greater freedom.
I ask your forgiveness for those moments when I have been trapped by my own self-imposed limitations and anger.
I commit myself to you, Lord, to cultivate a positive spirit and good humor for tomorrow. Help me in my resolve.
