WITH JESUS IN THE MORNING
Perseverance for the Kingdom of God
This new morning gives us the opportunity to turn our hearts back to You, Lord.
The Gospel presents us with a powerful passage from the Sermon on the Mount: “And if anyone forces you to go one mile, go with him two.” (Mt 5:38–42)
The willingness to go the extra mile may come as a surprise. Lord, grant us the perseverance needed to make Your Kingdom a reality.
In communion with the Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network, we pray the Offering Prayer.
