WITH JESUS DURING THE DAY
A Prayer for Peace
For a moment, we place ourselves intentionally in Your presence, Lord. We look back on the hours that have passed since this morning.
What can we thank You for? Where do we need to correct our path?
Pope Leo recalls the Olympic Truce, which served โto suspend all hostilities before, during, and after the Olympic Games, so that athletes and visitors could travel freely and the competitions could take place without interruption.โ
Sports foster mutual understanding and strengthen community. Lord, grant Your peace to our world! Grant those suffering from war a time of truce.
As we conclude this brief interlude, we say the monthly prayer.
