WITH JESUS DURING THE DAY
Toward a Culture of Care
This afternoon I pause, take a breath, look up at the sky, and give thanks for the beauty of the cycle of water.
I ask God to place these words of Pope Leo XIV in my heart: ‘A true ecological conversion can take place by returning to the heart.’ Lord, teach me to live a culture of care—lifestyles inspired by faith and God’s love—as part of a communal ecological conversion.
On this planet, we are all one. Lord, may I hear the cries of the earth and respond generously by doing whatever I can to care for water.
With this month’s prayer, I ask that we all have access to water.
