WITH JESUS IN THE MORNING
In Response to Your Love
With an open heart, I come before You this morning, Lord, asking for the grace to recognize all the love and mercy I have received from You.
After the sinful woman’s gesture of love toward Jesus, He explains to the Pharisee: ‘That is why I tell you that her many sins have been forgiven—for she loved much. But the one who is forgiven little loves little.’ Then He said to the woman, ‘Your sins are forgiven.’ Luke 7:36–50.
Lord Jesus, like the woman You welcomed, who expresses all her gratitude and love to You, grant me, too, the grace to respond to You with my love—and to others—for all the love and mercy I have received from You throughout my life.
I conclude with the offering prayer for my day.
