WITH JESUS DURING THE DAY
The Value of Water as a Gift from God
I’d like to take a moment to reflect on the Pope’s Intention for this month, which focuses on the care of water.
Pope Leo XIV told us on the World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation in 2025: ‘Nature itself sometimes becomes a commodity, a good that is traded to obtain economic or political advantages… the conflicts that erupt over water sources, the unequal distribution of raw materials, which penalizes the most vulnerable populations and undermines their social stability.’ Am I part of the population that advocates for the protection of water for the benefit of all, especially the most vulnerable populations?
Close with the monthly prayer.
