WITH JESUS IN THE MORNING
On the Journey with You
Lord, this morning I prepare myself to listen to you, feeling close to you, on this journey together alongside others.
This is what today’s Gospel passage tells us: “At that time, Jesus was traveling from town to town and from village to village, proclaiming and announcing the good news of the Kingdom of God, accompanied by the Twelve and by some women…” Luke 8:1–3. I contemplate You, seeing You always on the journey, welcoming, serving, healing, forgiving… loving. Those who have been called and healed follow you, help you, and learn from you. Following you is not a title; it is a response of love. Jesus, allow me to thank you for all you have done for me, as I strive to be a faithful collaborator in your mission.
I conclude with today’s offering prayer, on this journey with you.
