WITH JESUS DURING THE DAY
Love in Action
In the midst of this afternoon, pause for a moment to turn back to the Lord and carefully listen to this excerpt from Pope Leo XIV’s address at the psychiatric hospital in Equatorial Guinea:
“The Savior does not want to and cannot save us without our cooperation, both on a personal and social level. That is why He asks us to love our brothers and sisters, not in words but in deeds. A care facility like this one, with God’s help and everyone’s commitment, can become a sign of the civilization of love.”
The Lord invites you to go beyond words and enter into tangible love. To love is to draw near, to serve, to accompany, and to take part in building a more humane and fraternal world.
Ask the Lord to make you a builder of His civilization of love.
Recite the monthly prayer with fervor. Amen.
