WITH JESUS IN THE MORNING
Praying with Sincerity
On this new day, we try to make room for you in our daily lives, Jesus, and place ourselves under your loving gaze.
In the Gospel, Jesus urges us not to do good deeds or acts of piety to be seen by others, but to live them from within; this also applies to prayer: “When you pray, do not be like the hypocrites.” (Mt 6:1–6, 16, 18)
Does our prayer resemble empty talk filled with many words? Do we put on a show of our faith, or do we trust that God wants to meet us in the silence of our hearts and transform us?
With sincere hearts, we pray the Offering Prayer.
