WITH JESUS DURING THE DAY
Social Charity
I slow down this afternoon and reflect on caring for ecosystems as an act of peace.
โToday, the ecological issue has taken on such dimensions that it involves everyoneโs responsibilityโฆ This not only coincides with efforts to build true peace, but objectively confirms and strengthens them.โ (Pope John Paul II).
In a prayerful way, I join in remembering St. Pio of Pietrelcina, who saw God in all of creation.
I appreciate the actions of those who are committed to defending the rights of the environment, and I allow these examples to influence my daily habits, preparing myself to take concrete steps to avoid wasting water.
I end with the monthly prayer.
