WITH JESUS IN THE MORNING
I Want to See You, Lord
Today, as I open my eyes, I feel embraced by Your mercy. I quiet my mind and prepare to thank You for a gift Iโve received in recent days, or for an inner prompting that is guiding my day today.
In todayโs Gospel, I hear: โHerod said to himself, โโฆWho is this man about whom I hear such things?โ And he wanted to see himโ (Lk 9:7โ9). I contemplate that desire to see Jesus and let these words speak to my life.
I recall my love story with you and ask myselfโฆ what attitudes and gestures of yours sparked my longing to know you, love you, and follow you?
On this feast of Our Lady of Mercy, I pray the offering prayer together with her.
