WITH JESUS IN THE NIGHT
Praying with my life
Give thanks for the day that is coming to an end, and ask the Lord for the light to see Him in the experiences you’ve had today. Where has your attention and your heart been today?
Do you keep the Lord in mind throughout your day—offering Him what you experience, giving thanks, talking to Him about what happens to you, asking for help in times of difficulty, and seeking forgiveness for your mistakes?
Remember that your life is a topic of conversation with the Lord; your prayer is an expression of your friendship with Him. Do you live out in your daily life what you discuss with the Lord?
Resolve to live out what you pray for and to bring your daily experiences into your prayer. Ask the Lord for His help.
The Lord’s Prayer.
