WITH JESUS IN THE NIGHT
Ending the Day
At sunset, I reflect on the impressions and experiences of the day. What encounter continues to resonate with me? What word struck a chord within me? What did me good, and for what am I grateful? Where was I distracted? What word was excessive or unhelpful? For what do I ask forgiveness?
I keep the suffering and the cross of Jesus before my eyes. What can I do for Christ?
God, take this day that is coming to an end and grant your blessing for the night and for tomorrow.
Our Father......
