WITH JESUS IN THE MORNING
Greatness in Smallness
Lord, I come before You on this new morning, with a heart open to encounter You and to receive Your Word with humility and simplicity.
Today You say to me through the Gospel: ‘Whoever welcomes this child in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me. For the least among you is the greatest’ (Lk 9:46–50). I contemplate You speaking to me through Your very life, through Your humble way of being and acting.
Grant me, Lord, the grace to act without seeking any recognition, learning from You to serve from the lowest place and to recognize You in the most insignificant.
I offer You this day, promising to commit to this month’s intention: the care of water.
