WITH JESUS DURING THE DAY
Faith Against Excess
At this hour present to the Lord the intention for May: quality food for all and a genuine commitment to reducing food waste.
Pope Francis warned us: "Consumerism has led us to become accustomed to the superfluous and to the daily waste of food." Do not live in denial of this truth.
Today choose to check what you have and limit your shopping to what is necessary. May nothing usable go to waste.
May your faith be evident in your moderation and quiet generosity.
Finally, join in praying the monthly prayer. Amen.
