WITH JESUS IN THE MORNING
Great Love
Upon waking, I place myself in the presence of God the Father, who invites me to cherish meditation on his Word and personal dialogue with him. I feel how these words, spoken to me with tenderness and mercy, touch my heart: “These are my mother and my brothers: those who hear the word of God and put it into practice” (Lk 8:19–21).
I ask myself: How can I unite my heart to the heart of Jesus today, through concrete acts that show care for my brothers and sisters and for nature? Do I see God in the water sources? I hold onto the thoughts that come to me, without judging them. I take note of what stirs within me.
I pray the offering prayer.
