WITH JESUS DURING THE DAY
Solidarity That Humanizes
This afternoon, I turn inward in silence.
โThe integral development of the human person cannot take place without the solidarity-based development of humanityโฆ inspired by the values of charity, justice, and the common goodโ (Pope Benedict XVI, World Day of Peace, January 1, 2010, no. 10).
I recall that the Church teaches us that no one is saved alone. In union with the community, hope is rekindled to care for one another and to use with charity the natural resources that the Lord has given us so that all humanity may live with dignity. Recognizing not only our own needs but also those of others is a first step from which we must not turn back. Good Father, teach us to care for our water resources.
I pray for this monthโs intention.
