Archbishop Marcelo Colombo, President of the Argentine Bishops' Conference, welcomed the confirmation of Pope Leo XIV's visit to Argentina in November. The Apostolic Journey, announced on 5 August, will bring the Pope to Buenos Aires, Córdoba and Luján from 8 to 11 November, after Uruguay and before Peru. Archbishop Colombo said preparations are underway with a strong pastoral focus, and that the Pope brings a message of peace, hope and commitment to human dignity. The visit will include a celebration at Luján before Our Lady of Luján, Argentina's patroness.
