Two relics from St. Peter's Basilica have arrived in Lewouran, East Flores, welcomed by hundreds of faithful at Saint Peter the Apostle Mission Station Church. Father Markus Solo Kewuta, SVD, brought the two relics to his birthplace: soil from Saint Peter's tomb and a stone from the Holy Door.

The homecoming featured traditional East Flores hospitality, with elders draping him in woven cloth and offering betel nut and traditional drinks. Padre Marco, who serves at the Holy See's Dicastery for Interreligious Dialogue, said the relics connect the local and Universal Church. He recalled the parish built around 2001 and hoped Lewouran would become a sanctuary for prayer, pilgrimage, and hope.
