WITH JESUS DURING THE DAY
Mercy That Sets Us Free
At midday, I return to You, Jesus, and allow myself to be embraced by Your mercy—that law of love that dwells in the human heart. Your presence invites me to lay down what weighs me down and to rediscover inner peace.
Help me to recognize the expectations that weigh me down and those I impose on others. Grant me the grace to set aside judgment so that I may choose words that uplift and set free.
May my attitude reflect that of the Good Samaritan: knowing how to see, to stop, and to become a neighbor. I set out again with an open heart, ready to lighten burdens and sow peace around me.
I pray with the entire Prayer Network for the pastoral care of mental health, that it may be a sign of mercy throughout the world.
