Christian communicators are called to be disciples before becoming protagonists. During the SIGNIS 2026 congress, Archbishop Fortunatus Nwachukwu invited communicators to build their minds before building their platforms, grounding their mission in human and spiritual formation.

He reminded them that digital spaces such as Instagram, TikTok and YouTube are new places of encounter where the Gospel can reach hearts. Communication, he said, can foster communion and hope, build bridges and encourage encounter rather than division. Care for creation should also be part of the stories they tell.

The Archbishop’s message is a gentle invitation to witness to the Gospel’s hope in today’s digital world and to become bridge-builders.
