More than 50 delegates from across Africa gathered in Addis Ababa for the continental meeting on the journey toward the 2028 Ecclesial Assembly. Bishop Lucio Andrice Muandula presented a four-stage roadmap to carry the Synod forward. He reminded Church leaders that synodality requires continual conversion. The path begins with Diocesan Assemblies, moves through national and continental discernment, and culminates in the 2028 Assembly with the People of God. Bishop Lucio described this season as a time of discernment and listening to the Holy Spirit, and insisted the conclusion will not be a celebration but the beginning of a renewed journey in communion, participation and mission.
