Bishop Ramón Valdivia, apostolic administrator of the Diocese of Cádiz and Ceuta, has invited all parishes to a prayer vigil for peace, stability and justice in Ceuta on the eve of the Assumption. The vigil will also be held at the Sanctuary of Santa María de África. In a letter, Valdivia describes the crisis as a humanitarian disaster caused by ambition and corruption, praising the calm of Ceuta's people. He thanks Pope Leo XIV and the Christian community, and presents Santa María de África as a beacon of hope.
